Candid Photography

I’ve recently come across candid photography, and it’s something I want to try out in the future. One of the main skills you need is being in the right place at the right time – which I’m not sure is a skill, but more about luck. Here’s some (cropped) examples from various Flickr users that have inspired me to try this out, click on the thumbnails below to view the full images.

I think my favourite thing about these candid shots is that they’re not staged or set up, the people involved don’t know they are being photographed and are acting naturally; some of the spontaneity involved is great.
