Red Bubble - Sell your creative output
Red Bubble is a website that allows you to display your photography, illustations and artwork and if you want – sell them as prints, t-shirts, calendars and greeting cards. Because the website does not tie you into selling your work – because some people either sell it already on their own site, or just want a place to show off their images – Red Bubble is also a very warm and friendly social network where contributors rate and comment other people’s work giving constructive feedback and advise.

I’m quite tempted to add some of my own photography to the website, then if feedback is good – maybe sell some of my images.

New design job online

January 20th, 2008 in Design

A relatively small site, this was a nice little project to work on. Artist Chris Perry wanted to redesign his website that he had built in Frontpage and give the site a more polished, professional look.

I hope the result falls into that description. Here’s the link to the website;

new design job online

January 6th, 2008 in Design

I’ve just finished a new website for a local artist and art teacher, Richard Taylor. The site is fairly small in terms of content, but I’m really happy in terms of the layout and the way it all came together – it was a very smooth project with no real issues cropping up. The site was built in HTML and CSS as usual and although the site is fairly small now – it has lots of potential to grow in the future.

banksy

some would call his work graffiti or even urban terrorism, although i’m not quite sure that he’s extreme enough to be a member of the space monkeys from fight club. i’d definitely go as far to consider his work as art – and art with a sense of humour!

check out his portfolio of work here, www.banksy.co.uk.
