Last year was the first time I had written a list of new years resolutions for myself, mainly aimed at my goals for work, but also taking in family and personal goals. Last week a wrote a review of that list, I did OK, but not brilliant. I definitely over reached, wanting to do too much – taking on both more client work and more personal projects. So this year will be a little different.

Samantha who runs Adorned had seen some of my previous projects and is a customer of company whose website I built a few years ago — Fabric Rehab — so was familiar with my work and the type of website’s that I build.
Nam to Cam
March 28th, 2011 in DesignSimon Kenyon is going for a bike ride in November, not quite an afternoon trip through the countryside though – he’ll be starting in Vietnam and ending up 11 days later in Cambodia, cycling for 500 miles in 30 degree heat and 85% plus humidity. Madness… but it is for a very good cause. Simon is raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and aims to raise £2,000.

The Gambia Partnership
October 12th, 2010 in DesignThe Gambia Partnership originally wanted me to update their existing website – but the website wasn’t in the best shape, so I suggested a redesign and fresh build. After reading an article on the Web Design Depot last year I knew their existing content would have to be worked into a very specific form to help gain the visitors attention, to quickly get across their message and then to ask for a donation.
Debra Orton Illustration
October 10th, 2010 in DesignDebra Orton, and her husband Adam, approached me to design and build them a website to promote – and to sell, a new collection of fine art prints by Debra. The subject of the illustrations is close to my heart so I was very excited by the project – the prints are based on Football stadiums and their surrounding areas, featuring landmarks that are close to the hearts of loyal supporters.

Dave Bond Personal Training Website
July 6th, 2010 in DesignDave Bond already had a web presence when he asked me to redesign his aging website, he had begun to explore social media and had set up Twitter and Facebook accounts to promote his personal training services, but his website was falling behind in getting across his message. Dave had lots of ideas about content for the site and how it would be kept up to date, with new content being added all the time in the form of articles he had written or sourced.
A Really Simple WordPress Gallery
June 13th, 2010 in ToolsI recently started a project that’s being built in Wordpress and requires a gallery to show off photos of recent events, a simple task I thought. How wrong could I of been?! After trawling the internet, exhausting numerous Google searches and testing a couple of possible gallery plugins – I settled on Lazyest Gallery.
